France Paris, Provence and Germany Prewedding photoshoot with Delong and Louise

We have embarked on our Europe World Tour starting with the city of Love – Paris, France.

Tour Eiffel

Constructed over more than a century ago in 1889, the Eiffel Tower is one of the most recognised landmark in the world. No prewedding photoshoot in France will be complete without the Eiffel Tower in the background.

Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris

Words cannot express the feeling you get when you walk around and through the doors of Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris.  We are not allowed to take wedding photos in the cathedral.

Once you walk through the doors, you see something that is absolutely breathtaking. The stone, the spires, the flying buttresses, the ornate craftsmanship of every aspect of the building, the warm glowing light from the candles, the gold heavy accents, the incredible works of art, the statue carvings, the gargoyles up on the top of the roof, and of course the colored lights streaming through the famous rosette stained glass windows, everything is just magnificent.

L’église de la Madeleine

L’église de la Madeleine is a Roman Catholic church occupying a commanding position in the 8th Arrondissement of Paris. The Madeleine Church was designed in its present form as a Greek temple to the glory of Napoleon’s army.  A large church was built in the 19th century and now it is used primarily as a concert hall. Very attractive architecture right in the center of Paris.

Arc de Triomphe

The Arc de Triomphe de l’Étoile is one of the most famous monuments in Paris, standing at the western end of the Champs-Élysées at the center of Place Charles de Gaulle, formerly named Place de l’Étoile — the étoile or “star” of the juncture formed by its twelve radiating avenues.

Absolutely a MUST do when visiting Paris. Once you have reached the top and outside it is a truly amazing experience. The wow factor sets in once you walk up the final steps and look over the beautiful city of Paris. Once again no wedding photography up there. From the roads it looks absolutely amazing with the cars zipping by this busy intersection.

Galerie Vivienne

The Galerie Vivienne is one of the covered passages of Paris, in the second Arrondissement. It is long and wide. The gallery has been registered as a historical monument since 7 July 1974 lined with iconic french cafes and shops.

Pont de Bir-Hakeim

The Pont De Bir-Hakeim, formerly the pont de Passy, is a bridge that crosses the Seine River in Paris, France. Pont De Bir-Hakeim is a beautiful place to view the Eiffel Tower, the Seine river, Parisian buildings and the bridge itself.

Pont Alexandre III

Inaugurated on the occasion of the 1900 Universal Exhibition and classed as a historic monument, the Pont Alexandre III is one of the most iconic bridges in Paris because of its architecture and location.  At its four ends are huge 17 metre-high pylons crowned with gilt bronze sculptures of winged horses representing the illustrious Arts, Sciences, Commerce and Industry. The art nouveau lamps decorated the bridge. From the bridge you can enjoy a sweeping view of these buildings as well as the Eiffel Tower and over the Seine, which makes it a popular place for photoshoots.

Petit Palais

Petit Palaisis a richly decorated 1900 building, housing eclectic fine arts dating from Renaissance to 20th century. The building itself was a work of art and it is one of the best museum in Paris. We loved the differing colors of marble in the entryway, the majestic iron work doors and the beautiful courtyard cafe.

Louvre Museum

The Louvre is a splendid and huge royal palace along the Seine river in the 12th century under Philip II. Now it is one of the best art museums in the world with many couples taking their photos with its glass pyramid in between the two wings which wrap the Cour Napoléon.

Marseilles Provence, France

After paris we flew to another popular destination for prewedding photography, Provence, located in south eastern France. Provence is known to provide breath taking views of endless lavender fields that bloom in the summer months.

Munich Germany

The last leg of our Europe prewedding tour took us to Baravia in Germany. We decided on this location for prewedding photography for our Singapore client as we wanted a more unique location. The backdrop is none other than Neuschwanstein Castle which sits on the top of a hill and is the inspiration for Disney’s Sleeping Beauty Castle. Surrounded by lush fields of green grass sprinkled with the summer flower bloom, the location provided a photo perfect opportunity.
